Imagine yourself deep in the Canadian wilderness, just as the sun crests the horizon casting light over the plants and trees covered in morning dew. Soft oak moss, moist earth and pine needles at your feet, surrounded by the coniferous Canadian forests of Pine, Fir, Cypress and Cedar. A light rain is hitting the canopy above bringing with it the combined earthy and grounding scents of dirt and ozone to complete our Morning Wood Soap.
A long lasting, silky bar is full of plant based oils and butters that gently cleanse, aren't drying and great for skin conditioning and health. The clay in each bar helps to remove excess surface oils from your skin to be rinsed away with the creamy lather while the shea and kokum butters are on double duty, locking in all day moisture. Each bar is cut at between 4.5 and 5 oz.
We make our soap the old fashioned way, in small batches to control quality. Palm and cruelty free our soap contain no palm oil, lard* or tallow and has never been tested on animals, only myself, family and friends.
Our soaps are cured for 4-6 weeks minimum to fully saponify and harden giving you a long lasting, great smelling bar of real soap.
Due to the handmade nature of this soap color variation may differ slightly from photos. Allowing your soap to dry between uses will lengthen the life of your bar.
Handcrafted in small batches to maintain quality in Brantford, Ontario, Canada.
While our products are mild enough for children and those with sensitive skin we do suggest to test on skin before use, as they may contain allergens.
Complete ingredient lists of our products can be found at the bottom left of the page.
*The exceptions are our Old Fashioned Pine Tar Soap and Premium Shave Soaps. We use old timeless recipes with tried and true quality that we didn't want to lose by making any changes to the formulas. Our lard is a by product of the meat industry and sustainably sourced.
